To help better support our member clubs and promote the great sport of curling, the TCA is pleased to launch a fresh new website. The new site is easier to navigate and features easily accessible content. Whether you are looking to learn how to curl, browse available curling leagues, find a curling event, or locate a curling facility, our new site will help you find the information that you are looking for. Content is limited at this time given the impact of the pandemic on club operations; watch for more updates in 2021. We are also sharing timely updates to help clubs through the current pandemic, such as return to play guidelines and other tools and resources. The TCA looks forward to continuing to expand the functionality of site over the course of the year and welcomes your feedback. Have an idea for how this site can be enhanced? Let us know!
This past spring, the TCA launched a contest to help us develop a new logo. The response was tremendous! We appreciated hearing from curlers of all ages as they shared their ideas, suggestions and creative input. Congratulations to Lucas Postlethwaite who submitted the winning entry. Lucas’ design represents an evolution of the old logo, while at the same time reflecting the TCA’s goals and making it more contemporary. The re-design takes the visual imagery of Toronto’s City Hall from a top-down perspective. It is simple, contemporary and incredibly versatile.
Congratulations Lucas, and many thanks again to all our contest participants!
